He was present at the reading of Merton Vale's last will and testament, in the presence of Judge Kirkton.

One of the cast of characters from the Findo Gask series of hard-boiled fantasy detective novels by Trevor Hopkins.

Most of the characters in the novels are based on place names in the Perth and Kinross region of Scotland, many of them close to the tiny village of Findo Gask.

Millearne House is close the Kinkell Bridge and is the traditional home of the Drummond family.

Kinkell Bridge is a tiny settlement in Strathearn, Perth and Kinross. It lies on the River Earn 2 miles (3 km) north of Auchterarder. The ancient parish is now incorporated with Trinity Gask.

A grand four-arched bridge over the River Earn was built c.1793 and alongside is a former toll house.
